Volunteer

The Humane Society accepts volunteers age 10 and up. We ask that all volunteers commit to working at least eight (8) hours per month for a minimum of six (6) months. Some programs require additional training, which will be provided by Humane Society staff.

We are in need of volunteers in different areas.
In the area of the cats, Ingrid can use help mornings with cleaning the cages and feeding the cats. We also appreciate people coming in later in the day to tidy up the cages or simply to cuddle or brush the cats (TLC).
In the area of the dogs, Cliff would love to have help in the early morning (before 9 A.M.) with cleaning the dog cages. Throughout the day we need people to walk the dogs as well as petting and brushing them.
